In June 2026, Oulu will pulse with contemporary circus as a festival is held for the first time, spreading from street performances to circus tents and from family programs to experimental late-night clubs. This community driven event brings contemporary circus into the heart of the city’s cultural life, offering a high-quality program accessible to everyone. We are a vibrant, diverse, and sensory festival. full of experiences, joy, emotions, and conversation starters.

The festival is organized by a coalition of Finnish circus artists and collectives, including Arctic Ensemble, Lumo Company, TipTop Walkers, and circus artist Merri Heikkilä. Together, we are creating an event where artistic ambition, accessibility, and community come together. We invite everyone to experience contemporary circus, curiously and together.
