An acrobatic, site-specific experience that invites both the audience and the city itself to become co-creators. Each performance takes the audience on a promenade journey that is shaped by its surroundings and offers a unique encounter for every audience and location.

CikadaCompany

Henrik Gard and Ali Stanger are the duo behind Cikada Circus, an acrobatic performance company based in Ireland. They focus their practice on Hand to hand and blending acrobatics with abstract or explicit narratives. They have created and toured six previous shows, receiving support from Arts Council Ireland and Northern Ireland and various arts centres and organisations around Ireland.

Their debut production, Cikada (2018), toured across Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and Italy, winning awards and nominations along the way. Cikada (2018) kiersi Irlannissa, Espanjassa, Portugalissa ja Italiassa, ja sai matkan varrella palkintoja ja ehdokkuuksia. 

The duo are continually upskilling and growing within their artistic practice, to push their own limits and to further the sector of Irish Street Arts.
